Sabor De Haiti (SDH), nestled in Killeen, Texas, embodies a vibrant journey of culinary passion and unique dining experiences. The seeds of SDH were sown back in 2006, deeply rooted in the experiences of its co-founder during his tenure in the U.S. Navy. The restaurant's core philosophy revolves around delivering more than just food; it's about presenting an unforgettable dining adventure. Chef G, the driving force behind SDH, has an inspiring story. In 2019, he re-entered military service, joining the US Army. His culinary passion didn't wane during his service; he continued to cook and sell food over the weekends. This dedication led to a growing anticipation among his customers, eagerly waiting for him to launch a restaurant. The concept of SDH came to fruition in March 2022, shortly after Chef G completed the Advance Leader Course. Remarkably, within a mere 45 days, everything from securing a location and funding to setting opening dates and initiating renovations was accomplished. A clear reflection of Chef G's commitment and the community's support, SDH was ready to offer its unique Haitian cuisine to the people of Killeen. Google reviews speak volumes about SDH's impact. Since 2006

Sabor De Haiti began in late 2006 while the co-founder was serving on board a U.S. Navy vessel.

The Journey Begins...

In 2019, Chef G re-entered the military. This time, instead of the Navy, he joined the US Army. Even though not as a chef or a culinary specialist. Chef G continued to cook and sold food on weekends. His customer never stop asking him when he will open up a restaurant.

Within a Month

In March of 2022, soon after graduating from Advance Leader Course(ACC), the idea to concretize SDH came to life. Within 15 days, there was a location. Five more days, later there was funds to invest.

 Pre Grand Ceremony date was set.
 Grand Opening date was set.
 Menus were created
 Renovation was in progress
 Logo was created
 Employees recruitment was in progress...You got the jest of it.
